'Oldest Snake' Fossils Found - Daily for 1 March. YEC's think that finding fossils older than previously known ones disproves evolution and an old earth. In reality, finding snake fossils that are older than previously known fossils proves only that snakes were around earlier than thought. This is a common YEC claim that has been made countless times over the past few decades.
Exploring the God Question 3. Mind and Consciousness, Part 1 (The Brain) - Daily for 28 Feb. Lengthy rebuttal to a DVD. Interestingly, the author uses C.S. Lewis near the end to refute it, and provides a link to an article on Lewis (C.S. Lewis, creationist and anti-evolutionist). It irks YEC's that Lewis was a theistic evolutionist, and remained so until his death, yet YEC's claim that he was not...they like to use his evidence and quotes, but feel they must make him into a YEC in order to do so).
