The purpose of this series of articles is to show that the creation account in Genesis has scientific value, and scientists can learn lessons from it that apply to the scientific world.

There are only two points to be made about this final article in this series.  First, the author's description is right on, as it applies to atheistic evolution...but not to the theistic evolutionist.

     Finally, the author says

Of all expressed views about creation, from the atheistic ex nihilo creation of Fred Hoyle’s Steady State Hypothesis through to the ‘deductive creationism’ of many modern creation theorists, only the Biblical outline of creation can provide a satisfactory basis for the origin of all things, the solution of real problems, the future of all things and of all things.

I agree, however, this applies to all creationists, including theistic evolutionists and progressive creationists.  Young earth creationists are not the only "creationists" in the church, although they commonly claim the title all to themselves.
