This article discusses  the pineal gland, which was one hundred years ago thought to be vestigial.

Although interesting, this gland has nothing to do with the evolution/creation debate...not even in 1979 when the article was published.  The pineal gland was the last endocrine gland to have its function discovered.  Prior to that, it was shrouded in mystery, and sure, some said it was vestigial.  However, finding a vestigial organ, or finding that there are no vestigial organs, is irrelevant to the evolution debate.

The evidence for evolution does not hinge on vestigial organs...the evidence is much stronger than that.  The realization that an organ is truly vestigial would definitely support evolution, but the lack of one is of no consequence.
