Dr. John's Q&A #146, February 2001

How Can the Chinese Dynasties Extend Back Many Thousands of Years?

This question was published in Dr. John's Q&A by John Morris in February 2001.  The Chinese Dynasties are said by some to extend back many thousands of years before the Bible.  According to Morris, some believe they go back 50,000 years.

Morris is correct in that precisely documented dynasties only go back to about 2,000 B.C.  I believe just as Morris that the Chinese must be descended from Noah, and must be a branch of peoples that came from the confusion of the languages at the Tower of Babel...although we probably disagree with each other on the dates of the Tower by several thousand years.

Not being an expert in Chinese Dynasties, that is about all I can say.  However, I can provide links for you to examine further.

If you are not a Christian, and you have been holding out on making a decision for Christ because the Church always preached a message that was contrary to what you saw in the scientific world, then rest assured that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and you can believe in Christ and receive salvation, while still believing in an old earth.  Click here for more.
