Dr. John's Q&A #136, April 2000

How could Noah have built the Ark all by Himself?

This question was published in Dr. John's Q&A by John Morris in April 2000.  Morris uses the calculations of the volume of wood, and assuming that only Noah and his sons did the work, he calculates that it would have only taken them 65 years to construct the ark.  I agree with Morris that this could be done.  From an old earth creationist perspective, this issue has nothing to do with the age of the earth.

If you are not a Christian, and you have been holding out on making a decision for Christ because the Church always preached a message that was contrary to what you saw in the scientific world, then rest assured that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and you can believe in Christ and receive salvation, while still believing in an old earth.  Click here for more.
