D51:  Leviathan was a Kronosaurus

Argument:  Ken Ham and others claim that Leviathan in Job 41 is a plesiosuar known as Kronosaurus

Response: 

 

  1. Since nobody has ever seen the creature God is referring to, it is impossible (even foolish) to try and correlate it to another creature

  2. References to leviathan in Ugaritic texts says it has seven heads.  The leviathan mentioned in Psalm 74:14 also has multiple heads.  It is clear this is a mythical creature, as no plesiosaur with multiple heads has ever been discovered

  3. Many Bible scholars say leviathan was a crocodile

  4. The message of Job 41 rules out leviathan being a plesiosuar.  Man has the capability to kill a plesiosaur.  Job 41 says the opposite
