About the author: Jason Vohs is a professor of chemistry at Saint Vincent College, a small, Catholic liberal arts institution in southwestern Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate student he studied chemistry, biochemistry, and classical studies at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Both his graduate work at the University of Georgia and his current research interests focus on the synthesis and characterization of organometallic complexes that may serve as building blocks for solid-state materials.
