Sounds exactly like YEC. Religion does have its place in science, and there are many old earth creationists who know how to meld the two together.

Big Bang Blunder Bursts the Multiverse Bubble - What CMI describes as a blunder, is in reality simply science at work. Ideas are proposed, and then through the process of peer review, problems with the idea are highlighted and discussed, and eventually either the new idea is accepted or rejected.  Of course, CMI wants the Big Bang to come crashing down, but unfortunately for them, it's not going anywhere.
